Geoff is the CEO of YourPlace Housing, a Tier 2 housing provider specialising in housing for individuals with disabilities and their families. YourPlace manages a diverse portfolio of 500 properties, encompassing social, affordable, and specialist disability housing. Since joining YourPlace in 2020, Geoff has spearheaded the redevelopment of outdated disability housing stock, transitioning to more contemporary housing models.

With over two decades of experience in the social and affordable housing sector, Geoff’s career commenced in the community housing sector in Victoria. In 2008, he transitioned to the South Australian housing department, where he assumed responsibilities for strategy, policy, and intergovernmental relations. During his tenure with the SA Government, Geoff participated in various national housing policy and program working groups and initiatives. Additionally, prior to his role at YourPlace, Geoff was engaged in the corporate sector, focusing on projects related to housing and community services.

Geoff advocates for the societal responsibility to provide safe, secure, and appropriate housing for all individuals, irrespective of their socio-economic status, and views the community housing sector as crucial to achieving this objective. Currently, Geoff serves as the Chair of CHIA South Australia and has been a member of the CHIA SA Board since late 2020.
