Alex Raphael

Alex Raphael is a national policy and advocacy leader with more than 15 years’ experience shaping social change. She has worked across humanitarian, not-for-profit and government-facing environments, including senior roles with Amnesty International, Oxfam and the United Nations.
 
Alex is values-led and outcome-focused. Before joining Australian Community Housing, she was Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA), where she helped scale influence, sharpen strategy and lift sector outcomes.
 
She now leads Australian Community Housing’s national policy and advocacy agenda, working to grow a strong, credible community housing sector and to ensure housing policy delivers fairness, dignity and long-term public value.
