5 Prepare action plan
Your CHP will now be in a position to prepare the implementation plan. It will be important to update your CHP’s database as improvements to each dwelling are made. This will help quantify the (anticipated) savings. The action plan could include steps such as:
- Reporting to board and external stakeholders
- Prioritise actions and dwellings to be improved
- Engagement with tenants – explain the short term inconvenience and the mid- to long-term benefits, establish ‘permission’ to
- Engagement with property owners
- Procurement of services
- Tenant training and raising awareness
- Onsite works
- Database update
- Monitoring of performance, survey of tenants
